Steven Spielberg is an example of someone who persisted at his goal to be a filmmaker. Spielberg identified his dream early in life and tenaciously pursued it, overcoming several obstacles, such as being rejected by the UCLA and USC film schools because of low high school grades. Ironically, Spielberg went on to become the most popular and successful filmmaker ever.
