Grenada is a small constitutional monarchy with a bicameral legislature. The government works to respect the civil and human rights of its citizens and the country's human rights record is generally good.  That said, there were a few violations reported recently. There were allegations of corruption in the government and police forces. There were also a high number of incidences of child abuse.  Still, Grenada enjoys one of the best human rights records in the world.
