N!xau was a bush farmer who starred in the 1984 movie The Gods Must Be Crazy, which told the story of how a Coke bottle dropped from a plane changes an African villiage. Like the characters in the movie, N!xau had not been exposed to modern technology until he made the film. Because the original movie was a huge success, he went on to star in a string movies, which ended up being poorer quality.
