A native of Conakry, Feindouno is one of Guinea's most highly regarded soccer talents. Playing professionally in France since the 1998–99 season, Feindouno has been a midfielder and forward with the Bordeaux, Lorient, and Saint-Etienne teams. In 2004, he led the Guinean national team to the quarterfinals of the African Cup of Nations, and he captained Guinea in their qualifying games for the 2006 World Cup.
