Richard Leakey, son of paleoanthropologists Louis and Mary Leakey, has worked as the director of Kenya's National Museums and the Kenyan Wildlife Service. He has led many successful excavations and uncovered important skeletal remains that have helped scientists piece together the history of humanity.
