Cure for: In Ayurveda it is used as the main herb for the hair and cirrhosis . It is believed to prevent aging, maintains and rejuvenates hair, teeth, bones, memory, sight, and hearing. It also rejuvenates kidneys and liver.
Bhringaraj oil is famous for making the hair black and luxuriant and for removing grayness and reversing balding. It helps to calm the mind from excessive activity and promotes sound sleep. The root powder of plant is used in Ayurveda for hepatitis, enlarged spleen and skin disorders. Mixed with salt, it relieves burning urine. Mixed with a little oil and applied to the head, it relieves headache. Applied externally it helps draw out poisons and reduces inflammation and swollen glands. Bhringaraj is also good for complexion.
