Lailat al Kadr (also spelled Laylat al-Qadr and Shab-e-Qadr), means the Night of Destiny, and marks the anniversary of the night in which the Qur’an was first communicated in its entirety to Muhammad. Popularly, it has been referred to as Night of Power.
