INGREDIENTS

1. 6 medium-sized fish
2. 2 cloves chopped garlic
3. 2 tablespoons flour
4. 5 tablespoons oil
5. 3 tomatoes, sliced in half
6. Salt
7. Pepper
8. Chili powder

Method:

• Wash, dry, and cut the fish into pieces.
• Push small pieces of garlic as deep as possible into the flesh of fish.
• Dip the pieces of fish in the flour.
• Heat the oil in a cast iron pan and place the fish in it once the oil is very hot.
• When the pieces are golden brown, add the tomatoes.
• Add salt, pepper, and chili powder. Cover the pan.
• Simmer at low temperature for 40 minutes, adding small amounts of water as needed. Serve hot.
