INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 pound halibut steaks
  2. 1/2 cup white wine
  3. 1 teaspoon sugar
  4. 1/4 cup soy sauce
  5. 1 clove garlic, peeled

Method:

  1. Mash garlic with side of knife.
  2. Mix soy sauce, wine, garlic, and sugar in saucepan.
  3. Heat to boiling and pour over fish.
  4. Marinate 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Broil fish 4 inches from heat for 10 minutes or until flesh flakes easily.
