INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 pound dried beans
  2. 1 pound lamb meat, cut into pieces
  3. 2 medium onions, chopped
  4. 2 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
  5. 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  6. 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  7. 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  8. Cooking oil
  9. Salt and pepper

Method:

  1. Wash beans and soak for one hour. Boil until tender.
  2. Sauté onions, garlic, and meat in a pot with cooking oil until meat is tender.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes, salt and pepper, and 2 cups of water. Mix well over medium-high heat.
  4. Add tomato paste diluted with water; mix.
  5. Let mixture cook on medium heat for 30 minutes.
  6. Add lemon juice, and cook mixture for another 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. Serve hot with rice.
