INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 cups parboiled rice
  2. 2 cups dosa rice
  3. 1 cup urad dal
  4. 1 cup thick poha (Avalakki)
  5. 2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  6. Salt for taste

 

METHOD

  1. Soak above ingredients in the morning for 5 to 6 hours.
  2. Grind into a fine smooth paste and add salt.
  3. Leave it over night in the tight container.
  4. Next day when its gets fermented prepare dosa.
  5. Heat the griddle and spread the batter to form a circle with the back of the ladle.
  6. Add 2 tsp oil or 2 tsp ghee around the dosa, then turn the dosa with a help of a flat spoon and cook it other side.
  7. Then spread the red chutney on one side of dosa then aloo curry in middle of the dosa and fold the dosa into a triangle and serve hot with sambar and coconut chutney.
