INGRIDENTS

  1. 1 cup green gram dhal (moong dhal)
  2. 3 cups of jaggery
  3. ½ cup of dry coconut powder
  4. 2 tsp poppy seeds
  5. 4 cardamom
  6. ½ tsp nutmeg powder
  7. 1 ½ Cup of water or milk
  8. 2 tsp ghee

METHOD

  1. Roast the dhal with 2 tsp of ghee until it turn into a light brown color.
  2. Then pressure cooks the dhal for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Dry roast coconut and poppy seeds and make a fine powder of it.
  4. Melt the Jaggery with water.
  5. When dhal is cooked add Jaggery water and fine powders and boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Add cardamom and nutmeg powder to it and serve hot.
