INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 large whole chicken
  2. 1 small onion, chopped
  3. 1 large onion, chopped
  4. 2 tablespoons ground ginger
  5. 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic
  6. 2 tablespoons ground pepper, to taste
  7. 1 teaspoon black pepper
  8. 1/8 cup ground jangsang
  9. 1 teaspoon salt
  10. 1 bouillon cube
  11. 1/4 cup vegetable oil 

Method:

  1. Wash and cut chicken into desired sizes. Put chicken in a large bowl, add all ingredients except small onion and oil, and mix very well. Let marinate for at least 4 hours.
  2. Put the oil in a large cooking pot. When oil gets hot, put in the small chopped onion. Cook until translucent. Add in seasoned chicken, and cook at medium heat for about 45 minutes to an hour. Cook longer depending on the amount of desired juice.
  3. Serve with rice, dodo, roasted plantains, or myondo.
