Ingredients

Stuffing

  1. 1 cup Toor dhal
  2. ½ cup Channa dhal
  3. 11/2 cup jaggery
  4. 1 tsp nutmeg powder
  5. 1tsp cardamom powder

Dough

  1. Maida flour 11/4 cup
  2. Turmeric powder 2 pinch
  3. Water to need the dough
  4. ¼ cup of oil.

Method

  1. Add enough water and turmeric powder and 2 tsp of oil and a pinch of salt to Maida flour and make soft dough, pour reaming oil over the batter and keep it for 2 hours.
  2. Cook dhal, adding only little water. Drain the water when dhal is cooked .
  3. Add jaggery, cardamom powder and nutmeg powder. Keep on a slow fire and keep stirring remove after 5 minutes.
  4. Grind the mixture without adding water into a smooth paste.
  5. Take a big marble size of dough and flatten into a Pori on a greased plastic paper. Keep a lime size of filling and cover the edges and roll it like parata.
  6. Heat a flat iron pan and smear it with oil keep the poil and pour a little oil around turn gently and cook the other side. And serve hot.
