INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 Cups rice cooked

MAKE TAMARIND PASTE OUT OF THESE INGREDIENTS

  1. 4 tbsp of tamarind paste
  2. 1 tsp of turmeric powder
  3. Salt for taste

SEASONING

  1. 4 Tbsp of oil
  2. ½ Tsp of mustard seeds
  3. ½ Tsp of black gram dhal
  4. ¼ Tsp of fenugreek seeds
  5. 3 Stalks of curry leaves
  6. 2 tbsp of Bengal gram dhal soaked
  7. 2 pinch of asafetida
  8. 2 Red chilies
  9. 2 Green chilies

Method:

  1. Cook the rice and keep it aside.
  2. Then boil the tamarind pulp and turmeric along with salt until thick paste.
  3. Prepare seasoning with above seasoning ingredients and add above pulp to it and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. When rice cools down then add this paste and mix well.
  5. This rice can be served hot are cold.
