INGREDIENTS
- 2 Cups rice cooked
MAKE TAMARIND PASTE OUT OF THESE INGREDIENTS
- 4 tbsp of tamarind paste
- 1 tsp of turmeric powder
- Salt for taste
SEASONING
- 4 Tbsp of oil
- ½ Tsp of mustard seeds
- ½ Tsp of black gram dhal
- ¼ Tsp of fenugreek seeds
- 3 Stalks of curry leaves
- 2 tbsp of Bengal gram dhal soaked
- 2 pinch of asafetida
- 2 Red chilies
- 2 Green chilies
Method:
- Cook the rice and keep it aside.
- Then boil the tamarind pulp and turmeric along with salt until thick paste.
- Prepare seasoning with above seasoning ingredients and add above pulp to it and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
- When rice cools down then add this paste and mix well.
- This rice can be served hot are cold.
