Ingredients

  1. 1 cup fine rava
  2. 11/4 cup water
  3. 11/4 cup milk
  4. 2 cups sugar
  5. 11/2 cup ghee
  6. 1 banana chopped
  7. 8 to 10 cashew
  8. 10 to 12 raisins
  9. 1 tsp cardamom powder
  10. ½ tsp of saffron
  11. 4 Cloves (Lavang)

Method

  1. Fry rava with ghee and cloves (Lavang) to a light brown color and keep it aside.
  2. In another pan boil water, milk and sugar and saffron.
  3. When it stars boiling add rava and cook for some time, then turn off the heat.
  4. Then add chopped banana and cardamom powder.
  5. Take 2 teaspoon of ghee and add cashews and raisins to it and fry till it turns light brown color then add this to Prasad.

Hint: If you want to make pineapple kesaribath, you can add chopped pineapple when you boil the sugar and water. And do NOT add Bananas if you add pineapples.
