INGREDIENTS

  1. 1Cup rice
  2. 1Cup moong dhal (Green gram dhal)
  3. 8Cups of water
  4. 3Cups of powdered jaggery (Brown sugar)

SEASONING

  1. 5 tbsp ghee
  2. 10 to 15 cashew nuts
  3. 8 to 10 Raisins
  4. 1 tsp cardamom powder

Method:

  1. Cook rice and dhal with water together.
  2. Then heat pan with water and dissolve jaggery in the water and cook till it thickens add cooked rice and dhal in it.
  3. Prepare seasoning with above ingredients and pour it over the rice and dhal, mix well.
  4. Garnish with cardamom powder and serve hot with ghee.
