Ingredients

• 1 green papaya
• 4 garlic cloves
• 10 chilies
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3 tomatoes, sliced
• 2 tablespoons fish sauce
• Lime juice, to taste
• Sugar, to taste

Method

• Peel the green papaya and shred with a grater.
• Place the garlic, chilies, and salt into a mortar. Grind with a pestle for two minutes.
• Add the green papaya, tomatoes, fish sauce, lime juice, and sugar. Mix thoroughly and serve.
