Almond Burfi

INGRIDENTS

  1. 1 cup of almonds
  2. 11/2 cup of sugar
  3. 2 tbsp of ghee
  4. 1 pinch of saffron
  5. Enough milk to blend
  6. Silver Warq for decoration

METHOD

  1. Soak almonds and sugar in very little milk.
  2. Blend the almonds and sugar in very little milk.
  3. Cook the mixture in a nonstick cooking pan stirring continuously.
  4. Add the ghee and saffron and cook till it forms a ball and comes clean.
  5. Spread the mixture on a greased cookie sheet and put a cling wrap on top of it and roll it with a rolling pin  to spread
  6. Decorate with silver warq.
  7. Cut in to desired shapes.
