  1. 10 to 12 potatoes, medium sized
  2. 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  3. 2 green chilies, optional
  4. 1 clove garlic
  5. 1/2 cup yogurt
  6. 2 tablespoons mustard oil
  7. Green coriander leaves
  8. 1 tablespoon ginger, finely chopped
  9. Salt to taste



  1. Boil potatoes; peel and cut into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil and add turmeric, green chilies, garlic, and ginger. Fry for 1 minute. Add yogurt, potatoes, and salt. Cover and cook gently for 4 to 5 minutes.
  3. Garnish with green coriander leaves.
