  1. 1 cup fresh coconut grated
  2. ½ cup black gram dhal (roasted)
  3. 6 to 8 fenugreek seeds (roasted)
  4. 10 to 12 red chilies (roasted)
  5. 2 pinch of asafetida
  6. Salt for taste
  7. 2 tsp tamarind pulp


  1. Dry roast black gram dhal and fenugreek seeds and red chilies then grind along with other ingredients.
