Chad Millet Porridge

  1. 1 cup millet
  2. 1 3/4 cups water
  3. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  4. Sugar or honey



  1. Place millet in strainer and rinse. Allow to drain until water no longer drips.
  2. Heat water and salt in saucepan until it boils. Add millet.
  3. Lower heat and simmer, stirring constantly, until millet is soft, 20 to 30 minutes.
  4. Served sprinkled with sugar or drizzled with honey.
