  1. 2 cups all-purpose flour
  2. 2 teaspoons salt
  3. Warm water
  4. Cooking oil
  5. 1 dozen eggs



  1. All ingredients should be at room temperature. Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Mix in enough water to thicken the dough. Mix in one or two spoonfuls of oil.
  2. Knead dough on a floured surface for a few minutes. Add some dry flour as you knead. Return dough to the bowl, cover, and allow it to stand for 30 minutes.
  3. Lightly grease a pan, skillet, or griddle with oil. Preheat it.
  4. Divide the dough into balls about half the size of your fist. Flatten into six-inch circles. Fry them, turning once, until each side is golden brown and spotty. Cover the finished chapatis.
  5. Mix all the eggs together in a bowl with plenty of salt. Fry the eggs in plenty of butter.
  6. Roll eggs into each chapati and enjoy.
