  1. 1 Cup black gram dhal
  2. 1/2 Cup red chilies
  3. 1/4 Cup sesame seeds
  4. 2 pinch asafetida
  5. Salt for taste


  1. Heat the pan with 2 tsp oil and fry the red chilies and keep aside, fry the black gram dhal until reddish color and powder with chilies salt and asafetida into a coarse powder.
