Dry Fruit Ladu

  1. 1 cup Almond chopped
  2. ¾ cup dry dates chopped                                                     
  3. 4 cup Dry coconut powdered
  4. 3 cups Jaggery pounded
  5. 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  6. ¼ tsp nutmeg
  7. 4 to 5 cardamom
  8. 1 cup ghee
  9. ¼ cup gound ( gum  you will get it in the Indian stores)


  1. Roast the dry nuts with little ghee and coconut separately, and poppy seeds separately.
  2. Melt the Jaggery with the remaining ghee.
  3. Powder the cardamom and nutmeg .
  4. Deep fry the gound ( gum) keep it aside
  5. When Jaggery melts add all the ingredients to it and mix it well when its hot you have roll and make small balls out of it.
  6. You can make dry fruit ladu only when the Jaggery is hot other wise you cannot make it.
